Prep Roundup: Hoffman's goal allows Saints to earn draw in girls soccer

Katie Hoffman scored for St. Mary’s as the Saints earned a 1-1 draw with Bryn Mawr on Friday in girls soccer.

Volleyball

KING’S CHRISTIAN 3, KEY 0: Alex Reichardt had seven aces with a kill and two digs and Olivia Stone pitched in with six digs, four acs and an assist, but the Obezags fell to the Eagles. Sloane Butler had eight digs as well as a kill and two aces for Key (2-3).

ST. MARY’S 3, ANNAPOLIS 0: Karen Bautista went 10 for 11 serving with five kills, three aces and three blocks while Sabrina Gleitz went 13 for 13 serving with three aces but the Panthers (0-1) was downed by the Saints 25-13, 25-19, 25-15.

Field Hockey

KEY 4, CATHOLIC 0: Freshman Emma Morahan scored two goals and Delaney Snowden and Mimi Cheston also found the back of the net as the Obezags beat the Cubs on Thursday. Trinity McCauley, Sydney Huckaby and Julia Young each had an assist and Angela Harris made four saves for Key.

PATUXENT 7, SOUTHERN 0: Carly West made nine saves for the Bulldogs, but they lost to the Panthers on Thursday. Southern is 1-1.

Golf

WELLS LEADS SEVERNA PARK TO VICTORY: Addison Wells led Severna Park with a 40 and the Falcons finished with a 161, four shots better than South River, in Friday’s A Division match at Bay Hills. Pete Regala added a 42 for the Falcons. The Seahawks were led by Manca Teran, who shot a 39, and Joe Gaulin, who shot a 41. Broadneck finished third with a 176 and was led by Trent Woodfin, who shot a 42. Arundel finished fourth with a 194 and was led by Sawyer Baxter, who shot a 43.
