Kissinger paces Southern in win over Glen Burnie

Emily Kissinger led the charge with three goals as Southern defeated Glen Burnie, 11-0, in field hockey on Wednesday.

Lindsey Crawford and Julie Barksdale scored two goals apiece, Shelby Bell scored once and notched three assists, Izzy Wooster, Lilly Bart and Trinity Rice each scored once, Lizzie West picked up two assists and Lauren Cox and Sarah Smith had one assist apiece for Southern (2-1). Chyann Moreno made 17 saves for the Gophers.

ARCHBISHOP SPALDING 5, ROLAND PARK 0: Margot Lawn had a hat trick and Olivia Malamphy recorded a goal and an assist as the Cavaliers shut out Roland Park. Lindsay Beardmore scored once, Lilly Grant picked up two assists and Jules Ramey had an assist. Jess Wallace and Sophie Somerville each made two saves for Spalding.

ARUNDEL 2, SEVERNA PARK 1(OT): Delaney Norr scored in overtime to lead Arundel to a 2-1 victory over Severna Park in overtime on Tuesday. It marked the first victory for Arundel over Severna Park in school history.

Katie Keane scored for Arundel in the first half and Alex Miller’s second-half goal for Severna Park forced overtime.

NORTH COUNTY 2, NORTHEAST 0: Madison Bennett scored a goal and assisted on another to lead the Knights on Tuesday. Alyson Geckle added a goal, Britney Castle recorded an assist and Sarah Thompson had 10 saves for North County.

Emma Hurman stopped 10 shots for Northeast.
