McKinney goes over 1,000 points in Indian Creek's win

Malik McKinney surpassed the 1,000-point mark for his career on Wednesday when he scored 21 points to lead Indian Creek to a 59-45 victory over St. Mary’s.

McKinney was 11 for 12 from the free throw line on his big night, which ended with him having 1,006 career points.

Khalil Williams added11 points and 10 rebounds, Khiyon Washington had nine points and four assists and Jordan Lewis had nine points on three 3-pointers for Indian Creek (17-1)

Patrick Devitt scored 13 points to lead St. Mary’s (5-16).

SEVERNA PARK 56, NORTHEAST 50: Jack Thomas scored 22 points to lead the Falcons to their first county win.

David Fischer added 13 points and Luke Guy grabbed nine rebounds and dished off six assists for the Falcons (3-16).

Brandon LeBarron scored 10 points, Josh Cain added nine points and Brennen Volkman had seven points and 11 rebounds for Northeast (4-16).
