Police arrested a Glen Burnie man Monday after they said officers seized nearly 500 grams of cocaine in searches of Glen Burnie and Brooklyn Park residences.

Anne Arundel County police said officers searched two residences on Monday — one at 5356 Patrick Henry Drive in Brooklyn Park and another at 901 Genine Drive in Glen Burnie — on suspicion they were being used to sell illegal drugs.

Police said they seized 479.8 grams of cocaine as well as a revolver, ammunition, 11 pills of Xanax and various drug packaging material.

As a result of the searches, police arrested Edwin Soto, 38, of the Glen Burnie residence. Online court records indicate he has yet to be formally charged.
