School meal prices will remain unchanged for the fifth year in a row, under a plan approved by the Board of Education of Anne Arundel County on Wednesday.

Breakfasts for all grade levels will still cost $1.50 in the 2018-2019 school year, the Anne Arundel County Public Schools system said in a press release.

Elementary lunches will be $2.75. Secondary lunches will be $3.

Reduced-price meals will also be the same amount.

And the price of milk will also be the same — 55 cents.

The Division of Food and Nutrition Services will serve more than 5.7 million lunches this school year and 3.7 million breakfasts, as well as 195,000 dinner meals, AACPS said.

The system has free breakfast programs in place at 61 schools, and Child and Adult Care Food programs at 46 locations.

The Division of Food and Nutrition Services gets 38 percent of its funding from food sales, 58 percent from federal reimbursements and 4 percent from the state, according to the release.
