A fire in Glen Burnie Monday night displaced two adults, a child and injured an Anne Arundel County firefighter.

At about 10 p.m., county firefighters responded to a dwelling fire at the 100 block of Whip Lane in Glen Burnie.

They found a single-story home with smoke and fire coming from a front window, fire officials said. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

It took 35 firefighters about 30 minutes to control the blaze. One firefighter was transported to Baltimore Washington Medical Center with a minor injury and released.

Red Cross is assisting the two adults and child displaced from the blaze. Damage is estimated at $100,000.
