After a deck collapsed in Pasadena on Saturday afternoon, 10 patients were taken to area hospitals with minor or not life-threatening injuries.

Lt. Erik Kornmeyer with the Anne Arundel County Fire Department said they were dispatched to the 7600 block of Laurel Drive around 5:40 p.m. Saturday for a deck collapse.

Three women, ages 63, 26 and 26, were taken to local trauma centers with injuries that weren’t life-threatening, he said.

Another patient was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie by paramedics for minor injuries.

The remaining six patients, all with minor injuries, were then taken to BWMC using the department’s medical ambulance bus.

There is no structural danger, and no one was trapped under the deck, Kornmeyer said.
