Minor charged as adult in Annapolis shooting

Police charged a 17-year-old as an adult with weapons offenses Friday after officers said a house was struck by a bullet in Annapolis.

Annapolis police said they located a house struck by a bullet at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of Betsy Court in the Newtowne 20 apartment complex.

Police identified the 17-year-old from Annapolis as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest.

The juvenile turned himself in Friday and faces four weapons offenses and a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.

No attorney was listed as representing the juvenile in online court records.
