UNION CITY, N.J. (WPIX) -- Union City Police say someone set a makeshift wooden cross on fire on a desk at a Union City, New Jersey Jewish school.
The apparent arson at Bnos Sanz on New York Avenue broke out last night inside the Education Center.
Firefighters put out the fire and pulled the charred desk out of the girls school portion of the center and placed it on the sidewalk. Police believe the suspects broke in through a back door.
The religious school for Hasidic children also houses a day care and library. No arrests have been made.
