The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office reports three local men have been charged with taking a 14-year-old girl out of state. All three men were booked in the Lafourche Parish Detention Center.
On February 4th around 3:30 PM, the girl's family called the Sheriff's Office after she didn't return home from school. Family member expressed concern months before regarding advances Justin Breaux had made to the girl. Deputies warned the 21-year-old to stay away from her.
Further investigations led deputies to learn that Jordan Picou and Jobi Stevens left the area with Steven's white expedition. Steven's told family members they were in Tennessee. Detectives received information that the expedition had been stopped for speeding near San Antonio, Texas. Stevens and the girl were in the vehicle. Texas State Police took all four into custody.
Family members retrieved the girl after the four were located. Breaux, Picou and Stevens were booked and charged with kidnapping at the Detention Center on Tuesday. Breaux was also booked on an outstanding arrest warrant for trespassing and he remains in jail in lieu of $150,250 bond. Picou is also charged with kidnapping and an outstanding arrest warrant for a parole violation which has no bond. His bond on the kidnapping charge is set at $100,000. Stevens was booked with kidnapping and released from jail after posting $100,000 bond.
