LAFOURCHE—Sheriff Craig Webre announced a suspect in the murder of a Thibodaux man waived his rights to fight extradition from Texas and is now in the Lafourche Parish Detention Center.
Nathaniel Bradley (B/M, DOB 3/30/1985, 8319 Forest Ridge, San Antonio, TX) was booked Sunday, August 15th on first degree murder charges in connection with the drive-by shooting of Derrick Boveland in July of 2008. Boveland was shot in front of his trailer on July 14th and succumbed to his injuries on August 13th.
Bradley was one of three men indicted by the Lafourche Parish District Attorney on July 23rd of this year. Amos Washington was extradited from Georgia in June.
He remains in the Lafourche Parish Detention Center in lieu of $1.5 million bond. Judge Jerome Barbera ordered Bradley held without bond. The third man wanted in this case, Richard Shelby (B/M, DOB 6/5/1985), remains at large. Anyone with information about Shelby's whereabouts is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-800-743-7433.
