A man accused of robbing and trying to rob pharmacies on the North Shore is now facing charges for robbing a pharmacy in Metairie.
They say the victim couldn't read the note so Monte read it for her while displaying a handgun in his waist band.
Deputies say the pharmacist gave him hydromorphone and morphine before he left the store.
The sheriff's office says a deputy noticed Monte fit the description given in the Metairie robbery in news reports about his arrest in Mandeville.
He is currently being held at the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center.
