HOUSTON—After dropping eight out of their last nine games, and four in a row, time could be running out on Texans head coach Gary Kubiak.
The season started out with playoff expectations after a 9-7 season in 2009, but it's ending on a sour note.
After a 4-2 start, the Texans have gone 1-8. Sunday they blew a 17-point halftime lead in Denver and lost to rookie quarterback Tim Tebow and the Broncos 24-23.
Monday fans blew up the sports talk radio airwaves calling for the firing of Kubiak and his staff.
Owner Bob McNair has not made a decision on Kubiak's future for next season.
The Texans close out the regular season Sunday at home against Jacksonville.
