Victoria Osteen and the flight attendant accusing her of assault stood side-by-side in a civil courtroom Tuesday, but there was nothing civil about what Sharon Brown says happened when they first met on a plane nearly three years ago.

Brown testified for the first time.
She told jurors that Osteen shoved her into a bathroom door and elbowed her when no one would clean up a spill in Osteen's first-class seating area.
A fellow Continental Airlines flight attendant wasn't there, but says she believes Brown.
"She's genuine. She follows her heart. She's a trustworthy person," said Cyndi Rhoden.

However, Osteen's attorney spent hours pointing out what he says are inconsistencies between Brown's testimony today and statements she made during a deposition last summer.
In that deposition, the defense says Brown called Osteen's Lakewood Church a cult.
"I think she's out of touch with reality," Rusty Hardin said.
     Tesimony will continue Wednesday.
Sharon Brown is expected to take the stand again.
