Pirate encampment The Susquehanna Museum will hold a Pirate Encampment from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lockhouse on Conesteo Street, Havre de Grace. Pirate camps will be set up and pirates will attack the town. Visitors can learn pirate talk and learn about real pirates on the Susquehanna and Chesapeake Bay. 410-939-5780.

Summer fun day Steppingstone Museum of Havre de Grace will hold a summer fun day with lawn mower races and a classic car show from noon to 4 p.m. at 461 Quaker Bottom Road. Ice cream-eating contests, turtle races, frog jumping, sack races, children's crafts, food and tours also will be featured. Admission is $5. 410-939-2299.

Twirling show The Applause of Bel Air Baton Corps will hold its annual Pre-National Show and Twirling Extravaganza at 2:30 p.m. at the McFaul Activities Center, 525 W. McPhail Road, Bel Air. Ladew concert Ladew Topiary Gardens will hold a concert from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the grounds at 3535 Jarrettsville Pike, Monkton. Spiral will play music of the 1970s from the Doobie Brothers, the Eagles, Duran Duran, Lynyrd Skynyrd and other MTV generation bands. Summer concert The Bel Air Recreation Committee will hold a summer concert series at 7 p.m. Sundays and Wednesdays at the William A. Humbert Amphitheater in Shamrock Park, Hickory Avenue and Lee Street. The Upper Chesapeake Chorus will sing today and the Chuck Baker Orchestra will play Wednesday. Bring seating.
