Man fatally stabbed, left at city hospital
A 27-year-old man fatally wounded in a stabbing early yesterday in Baltimore was taken to the hospital and left in a wheelchair by an unidentified woman who then drove away from the scene, a city police spokesman said.
The man died of his injuries at 3:20 a.m. - more than an hour after he was hospitalized at the University of Maryland Medical Center in downtown Baltimore, according to Detective Donny Moses.
He was identified as Timothy Swann Jr., who lived in the 1300 block of Wildwood Parkway. He had been stabbed in the neck, Moses said.
Moses said detectives were trying to determine where the stabbing occurred and were hoping the woman who left him at the hospital would come forward to provide police with information.
