3 killings in Prince George's
Prince George's County police are investigating three homicides that occurred between Friday night and early yesterday.
The latest killing occurred about 4 a.m. yesterday in the 1300 block of Merrimac Drive near Langley Park, where police responding to a 911 call found Isais Lopez-Vail, 34, who might have lived nearby, lying beaten in an apartment building hallway. He had suffered multiple injuries to the upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday, an unidentified woman was shot in the upper body in the 5000 block of Buchanan St. in Edmonston and was pronounced dead at the scene.
About 7:15 p.m. Friday, an unidentified man was stabbed in the upper body in the 8000 block of Riggs Road in Langley Park and died later at a hospital.
No arrests had been made in the slayings, police said.
