Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.
Homicide victims identified // Police yesterday released the names of two men fatally shot Sunday afternoon in the 3400 block of Belair Road. The victims, Channing Myrick, 26, of the 500 block of N. Glover St., and Deion Morris, 23, of the 1600 block of E. Oliver St., were gunned down about 4:30 p.m. by unknown assailants. Both men died a short time later at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Robbery // A gunman robbed Garden Sea, a restaurant in the 5300 block of Belair Road, of an undisclosed sum of money about 8 p.m. Monday.
Stolen vehicle // A blue four-door 2002 Mercedes-Benz with tags 8CB L96 was stolen between 10 p.m. Sunday and 1 a.m. Monday in the first block of E. Fort Ave.
Assault // Police were seeking a man who forced his way into a house in the 1900 block of Christian St. about 4 p.m. Sunday and struck a male occupant with a handgun before fleeing. The occupant was not seriously injured.
Arrest // Blake Betters, 18, of the 3300 block of E. Monument St. was arrested in the 2600 block of Greenmount Ave. early Saturday on a warrant charging him with robbery and carjacking. Betters is accused of robbing a man of his vehicle Aug. 25 in the 600 block of Beaumont Ave.
Robbery // Police were seeking two men who attacked a man, 65, from behind as he walked in the 2000 block of N. Calvert St. about 8 p.m. Monday and robbed him of his wallet containing $14.
Stolen vehicle // A burgundy 2003 Nissan Sentra with tags LMJ 216 was stolen Saturday or Sunday in the 1400 block of Eastern Ave.
Stolen vehicle // A burgundy 1992 Toyota Camry with tags SCH C72 was stolen Monday in the 4700 block of Foster Ave.
Burglary // Police were seeking two men who broke into Frankford Towing in the 6700 block of Quad Ave. about 9 a.m. Monday and stole two catalytic converters. When observed leaving the property by an employee, the men dropped the converters and escaped.
Theft // A stereo radio was stolen Monday from a 2002 Honda Civic parked in the 5800 block of Toone St.
Burglary // Someone entered Owings Mills Cleaners in the 11000 block of Owings Mills Blvd. through a roof vent Sunday or Monday and stole $100 in quarters.
Robbery // A man, 37, was standing outside his home in the 3700 block of Downey Dale Drive about 1 a.m. Monday when two males, one armed with a small-caliber handgun, robbed him of $50 and his cell phone. After the robbery, the victim wrestled the weapon from the gunman and both assailants fled. A check with the National Criminal Information Center showed the .22-caliber Ruger revolver had been stolen in Pennsylvania in May.
Burglary // Twenty feet of copper wire was stolen over the weekend from a house under construction in the 10000 block of Egerton Farm Court.
Burglary // Someone broke into Tim's Towing in the 1800 block of E. Joppa Road between Friday and Monday and removed two large wooden stereo speakers from a Dodge. Police said the speakers were found on the property and believe they were too heavy for the thief to carry away.
Burglary // Someone entered a house in the 500 block of Stratford Court through a doggie door Sunday night or Monday and stole a loaf of bread and a wallet containing an undisclosed sum of money.
