Teen gunned down near Lawndale home
An 18-year-old man was fatally shot in the head over the weekend in the Lawndale neighborhood on Chicago's West Side.
The victim, Channon Taylor, was gunned down Saturday in the 1800 block of South Lawndale Avenue, authorities said.Taylor of the 2100 block of South Millard Avenue was pronounced dead in Mt. Sinai Hospital 10 a.m. Sunday, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
No one was in custody. Harrison Area detectives were investigating.
