15 county schools named 'green'
Fifteen county schools have been named "Green Schools" for 2008 by the Maryland Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education.
County schools that qualified for the designation for the first time are: Dundalk, Jacksonville, Norwood, and Pot Springs elementary schools; Franklin Middle; Odyssey School; and Rosedale Alternative Center.
Schools earning Green School recertification are: Sparks Elementary; Cockeysville Middle; Dulaney and Towson high schools; Western School of Technology: Jemicy School; Lutherville Laboratory; and Seven Oaks Elementary.
