The Q:At the Exxon on Honeygo Boulevard in White Marsh, regular unleaded gasoline was running $4.17 a gallon at the end of last week. Not too far away at Ebenezer Road and Pulaski Highway, the Texaco was selling it at $3.99 a gallon while Sunoco priced its gas at $3.94 a gallon and Shell was selling the same for $3.96 a gallon.

Megabus gets OK for New York route

Low-fare carrier Megabus.com has secured permission to begin operating Baltimore-to-New York City bus routes on Friday from the White Marsh Park & Ride, the Maryland Transit Administration said yesterday. Though Chicago-based Megabus in March announced the launch of service to seven East Coast cities - including Baltimore - it took the Scottish-owned line two months to gain approval from the MTA to pick up passengers at its parking facility off Route 43. Megabus is expected to run nine round trips from the White Marsh lot. Amanda Mullin, a spokeswoman for Megabus, said tickets from Baltimore should be available for purchase on the Megabus.com Web site by today.
