Victim of fatal Balto. Co. crash identified
A man who died Saturday after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a traffic signal pole in Woodlawn has been identified as Tyrone Skinner, 37, of the 6600 block of Eberle Drive in Northwest Baltimore.
Baltimore County traffic police said Skinner, the lone occupant of a 2003 Nissan 350Z, was driving near Windsor Boulevard and Rolling Road near Rutherford Business Center about 12:30 a.m. Saturday when he lost control of the car and crashed into the pole.
Police said Skinner was pronounced dead at the scene and that evidence indicated excessive speed contributed to the crash. An autopsy is planned.
