Police describe man sought in robbery

County police have released a description of a man suspected in an armed robbery last week of the Royal Farms store in the 8200 block of Harford Road in Parkville.

Detectives say that at 9:35 a.m. Thursday, a man showed a handgun in the store and demanded money. The clerk gave the man an undisclosed amount from the cash register. The suspect is described as a black man in his 30s, 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a black head stocking and sunglasses, a black long-sleeve T-shirt, blue jeans and black tennis shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-307-2020 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 866-756-2587. Callers to Metro Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and might be eligible for a cash reward.
