Waterfront Festival planned tomorrow
The county will present its fourth annual Community Waterfront Festival from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow in Middle River.
Celebrating the county's 175 miles of waterfront, the event at Wilson Point Park, 950 Beech Drive, will feature these activities:
Deep Creek Elementary School Jazz Band at 10 a.m. and the vocal ensemble at 11:30 a.m.; sailing demonstrations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Sandy Plains Elementary School Chorus at 10:45 a.m.; water rescue demonstrations at 11 a.m., 12:15 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.; Hawthorne Elementary School Chorus at 12:15 p.m.; Norwood Elementary School Music & Movement at 1 p.m.; Sparrows Point High School Steel Band at 2 p.m.; docking contest at 3 p.m.; and Blind Monkey from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
