Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.
Homicide victim named // Police yesterday identified Linwood Colvin, 28, of the 2600 block of Carver Road in Cherry Hill as the man shot about 12:20 a.m. New Year's Day during a robbery a few blocks from his home in a house in the 800 block of Bethune Road. Colvin died about 1 a.m. Tuesday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. No arrest had been made. Police said the killing was the city's first this year.
Robbery // Police were seeking a man who entered Cluck U Chicken in the 2000 block of W. Patapsco Ave. about 9:45 p.m. Monday, pulled out a handgun and pointed it at an employee while demanding money. The gunman fled with an undisclosed sum.
Theft // An iPod of unknown value was stolen Monday between 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. from a 2006 Dodge Caravan parked in the 600 block of Archer St. by someone who forced open the driver-side door.
Assault // A boy, 16, was attacked by three other youths about 4 p.m. Monday at South Pulaski and Eagle streets and was stabbed in the left arm. The victim was treated at Bon Secours Hospital and was released. There were no arrests.
Robbery/arrest // A 16-year-old boy was arrested early Monday, accused of robbing his former girlfriend of nearly $100 in the 1100 block of Proctor St. The robbery was witnessed by a police officer who arrested the boy.
Theft // Someone stole both tags off a 1992 Toyota Camry in the 2100 block of Aisquith St. between Dec. 25 and Tuesday. The tag number is 4DR Z24.
Robbery // A woman, 50, was walking her dog in the 1600 block of Four Georges Court about 8 a.m. Tuesday when a man armed with a handgun demanded her money. The woman gave the man $200 and the gunman fled on foot.
Robbery // A man, 51, was walking in the 3700 block of Twin Lakes Court about 10 p.m. Tuesday when two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed him of his coat, a cell phone and more than $100.
Buglary // Several pieces of jewelry, cash and video games and accessories were stolen Monday between noon and 10 p.m. from a house in the 3200 block of Katewood Court.
