City woman killed in White Marsh accident
Two-car collision occurred near Cowenton volunteer fire department
A Northeast Baltimore woman was killed and a Perry Hall woman was injured when their cars collided this morning on Philadelphia Road in White Marsh, Baltimore County police said.
Karen D. Johnson, 32, of the 7700 block of Fredkert Ave., was killed when her eastbound 1994 Dodge Shadow crossed the center line and hit a westbound 2002 Ford Escape driven by Margaret A. Mosmiller, 53, of the 4800 block of Galley Road in Perry Hall, police said.
The crash occurred about 8:30 a.m. on Philadelphia Road near Silver Spring Road, police said.
Mosmiller was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. She was listed in fair condition, a hospital spokeswoman said this afternoon.
The accident investigation was continuing, and no further details were available, police said.
