Slaying of Dawn Lynn Shipley

Stuffed animals and personal messages are shown at a memorial for slaying victim Dawn Lynn Shipley. According to a police report, Shipley was walking with her boyfriend in the 500 block of Brunswick St. in West Baltimore Saturday when a man approached and asked for cigarettes. A witness told police she refused to give him one, and the man pulled out a handgun and shot her.
