Man fatally shot in east side
A 21-year-old man was shot and killed while waiting for his order at a Chinese takeout in East Baltimore early yesterday, police said.
Paris Richardson of the 2400 block of Lewellen Ave. went into Jimmy's Chinese Carryout on the 2500 block of E. Hoffman St. about 1 a.m. yesterday, placed an order and then sat on a bench with other customers to wait for the food. An armed man came into the restaurant and fired at him, hitting him in the torso and head, said Nicole Monroe, a police spokeswoman.
Richardson was pronounced dead at Johns Hopkins Hospital about 3 a.m.
