Man indicted in Jan. 18 killing
A 23-year-old city man has been indicted on first-degree murder charges in a Jan. 18 killing in the Oliver neighborhood.
Court documents allege that Lamont Dudley began shooting at Effrem Kearney, 20, in the 1500 block of Holbrook St. Kearney ran but collapsed blocks away.
Dudley is accused of standing over Kearney and shooting him several times, the documents show.
Kearney died later at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
