Men suspected of series of robberies
Baltimore police say they think three suspects who were arrested in Baltimore County last week were responsible for a series of city crimes, including an armed robbery on Schenley Road about 11:30 p.m. April 30.
The victim in the Schenley Road incident described the crime in an e-mail to her community association, writing that three men approached her as she was getting out of her car with groceries. "They ran toward me yelling and demanded money," she wrote. "The one with a bandana around his face DISPLAYED A SMALL HANDGUN."
Sterling Clifford, a city police spokesman, told The Sun last week that the woman's cell phone had been recovered and that the three were suspected in a rash of other robberies. The three were charged in Baltimore County on May 2, police said.
