Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.
Victim named // Police released the name yesterday of the man shot Friday afternoon at West Lafayette Avenue and North Payson Street. Police said Michael Johnson, 24, whose address was not available, was shot in the back and died hours later at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. No arrest had been made, and police said they knew of no motive.
Burglary // Someone broke into an AT&T store in the 9400 block of Reisterstown Road about 4 a.m. Friday after breaking a front window and stole $7,000 worth of cell phones. The burglary was discovered by police responding to an alarm.
