Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore
Central
Shooting // An unidentified man was shot last night in the side and an arm in the first block of Commerce St. near The Block, the city's adult entertainment center. About 11:45 p.m., district police responding to a report of a shooting found the man lying in front of 5 Commerce St. off East Baltimore Street. The victim was taken by ambulance to Johns Hopkins Hospital. Details of the shooting and the man's condition were not available. Shortly after the incident, police reviewed film from surveillance cameras near the scene in an effort to identify a man seen running toward Pratt Street shortly before police arrived.

Eastern
Homicide // Police continued to seek the person who shot a man in the head about 10 a.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of E. Federal St. in the Oliver community. The unidentified victim died a short time later at a hospital. Metro Crime Stoppers at 410-276-8888 is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment.

Southeastern
Stolen motor scooter // A black 2007 Honda motor scooter with no tags was stolen early Saturday from the backyard of a house in the 700 block of Umbra St.

Stolen vehicle // Police were seeking a brown, four-door 1998 Infiniti with tags 4AB X90 that was stolen between Friday and Saturday in the 2800 block of Jefferson St.

Southern
Robbery // A man, 50, was leaving his job in the 200 block of S. Payson St. about 3 p.m. Saturday when he was stopped by a man he recognized as a former employee, who threw him to the ground, struck him several times and robbed him of $60 before fleeing on foot. Later, the victim appeared before a District Court commissioner, who issued a warrant for the suspect charging him with assault and robbery. The suspect's name was withheld pending his arrest.

Theft // A 2006 Chevrolet van was parked in the 1400 block of W. Patapsco Ave. between Jan. 31 and Friday when someone stole the rear tag 589M975.

Theft // Two circular saws - all valued at nearly $500 - were stolen Friday from a 2004 Chevrolet pickup in the 700 block of Harvey St. in the Riverside community.

Stolen vehicle // A silver, four-door 2000 Saturn with Connecticut tags 941 RRN was stolen between Jan. 27 and Friday in the 300 block of S. Fremont St.

Baltimore County
White Marsh
Burglary // Police were seeking the person who broke into Perry Hall Middle School in the 4300 block of Ebenezer Road about 4 a.m. Saturday and was seen riding around the hallways in a wheelchair. A search of the building by police failed to capture the intruder. No property appeared missing. Anyone having information is asked to call the precinct at 410-887-5000.

Burglaries // Someone broke into two homes under construction in the 8100 block of Dotty Road between Wednesday and Saturday. From one house, 30 feet of copper wiring and 26 sheets of plywood were stolen. A door was stolen from the other house. Value of the property was not known.

Burglary // Someone entered a house in the 9200 block of Philadelphia Road on Saturday after breaking a glass door with a rock and ransacked several rooms.

Franklin
Burglary // A 13-inch TV was stolen between Jan. 19 and Saturday from a storage locker in an apartment building in the first block of Straw Hat Road.
