Man shot multiple times dies
An East Baltimore man who was shot early yesterday died hours later at an area hospital, police said.
Police said Kenneth Baker, 28, of the 1000 block of N. Kenwood Ave., was seated in a car in the 2600 block of E. Preston St. about 3:20 a.m. when he was shot multiple times by an unknown assailant.
Police said the car drifted several feet before striking a utility pole. He was found by Eastern District police responding to a report of a shooting.
Baker was taken by a Fire Department ambulance to an area hospital, where he died several hours later, police said.
Metro Crime Stoppers at 410-276-8888 is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and an indictment in the slaying.
