COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Mizzou has yet to finish its first season as a member of the Southeastern Conference, but it already knows next season's football schedule.
The Missouri Tigers will play host to SEC powers Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, and former Big 12 rival Texas A&M. Mizzou will travel to Vanderbilt, Georgia, Kentucky, and Ole Miss. The schedule will include two Saturdays on which the Tigers don't play.
The schedule does not include border rival Arkansas. The two schools discussed the possibility of becoming permanent rivals.

In a news release, the university said, "The 2013 schedule is considered a 'bridge' schedule and not based on any other previous or future scheduling formats. The SEC Athletics Directors will convene in Spring 2013 to begin formulating schedules for the 2014 season and beyond."
Missouri's non-conference schedule is nearly in place. The Tigers will open the season against Murray State. It then will host Toledo, then travel to Indiana. A fourth non-conference opponent has yet to be announced. It will be on Sept. 14, Sept. 28, or Nov. 16.
