RAMONA, Calif.—Firefighters battled a two-alarm fire at a stone-finishing business in Ramona Saturday, Cal Fire officials said.
The blaze broke out just after noon in the 600 block of Elm Street, near Cedar Street, according to Cal Fire Capt. Mike Mohler.
Firefighters took extra precaution as they received reports of possible hazardous materials inside the business, Mohler said.
Roads surrounding the area remained closed while firefighters fought to control the blaze, Mohler said.
It was extinguished at 12:50 p.m., and investigators worked to determine its cause.
