SAN DIEGO -- A pair of robbers assaulted a cashier and grabbed money from a cash register over the weekend at a Chollas View restaurant, police said.
The robbers entered Los Reyes Mexican Food at 4696 Market St. at 2:13 p.m., said San Diego police Officer Frank Cali. They ordered food, and when the cashier opened the register one of the bandits pushed the him against a drink cooler and grabbed money, he said.
The suspects were described as black males in their 20s, about 5 feet 9, with thin builds. One wore a white t-shirt and black pants and the other wore all black. They fled in a white two-door vehicle driven by a Hispanic female, Cali said.
