FALLBROOK, Calif. -- The death of an 89-year-old man from Fallbrook, who was found drowned in a community hot tub at a Coachella Valley resort, remained under investigation Monday.
Edward Fredericks was found dead in a community hot tub next to the Desert Princess Resort and Country Club golf course in the 29000 block of West Laguna Drive in Cathedral City.
Fredericks was found dead at 4:24 p.m. Friday, the Riverside County Coroner's office said.
Cathedral City police and the coroner said they were not sure yet how he died.
