Duo robs El Cajon bank
The FBI and El Cajon Police Department have asked the public to help identify two men responsible for robbing a US Bank branch located inside of an Albertsons grocery store Saturday. (FBI, San Diego /August 28, 2010)
EL CAJON, Calif.—
The FBI and El Cajon Police Department have asked the public to help identify two men responsible for robbing a US Bank branch located inside of an Albertsons grocery store Saturday. .
The store is at 1608 Broadway in El Cajon.
On Saturday, August 28, 2010, at approximately 2:48 p.m. two men simultaneously approached two tellers at the US Bank, located inside of the Albertsons grocery store, at 1608 Broadway, El Cajon, California, and made threatening verbal demands for money. The robbers threatened to shoot the tellers if they did not comply with their demands.
Both tellers complied with the robbers' demands and provided a sum of money to each robber. The robbers then walked away. No weapon or vehicle was observed.
The first robber is described as a white male around 40 years old. He is 6'0" tall with a dark mustache.
The second robber is a white male also around 40 years old. He has light brown hair and a tattoo on the right side of his neck with acne scars.
