The soon-to-be ex wife of Former Cowboys player Deion Sanders broke her silence Thursday.

A gag order was lifted against Pilar Sanders following the April 23 domestic dispute between the estranged couple at the family’s $5.7-million dollar Prosper mansion.

At a press conference Thursday, Pilar called Deion “just a provider” to their children, and “not a father.” She also told reporters, although the judge ruled in Deion Sanders’ favor, there were no winners in the case.  She believes people were influenced by Deion’s star status.

“When you live in Dallas and you have a star on your helmet and a gold jacket, you have a heck-of-a-load of people behind you no matter what you do. No matter what you say, you get covered for,” said Pilar.

In a statement, she refers specifically to the Prosper Police Department, claiming officers never took a statement from her that day.

A judge has order Pilar to stay at least 500 feet away from the mansion. Deion and Pilar will meet again on May 15 for a child custody hearing.
