Oprah's next big TV star might be an unknown from North Texas.

She's created the uber successful Dr. Phil Show, Rachael Ray Show and The Nate Berkus Show. Now, the television guru is searching for TV's next big star.

In 2009, Oprah Winfrey announced her long-running show would end. She said she would end The Oprah Winfrey Show after its 25th season to work on her own network. The Oprah Winfrey Network, or OWN, will be a "24/7 cable network devoted to self-discovery, to connecting you to your best self and to the world," her website states.

Now, the Big O needs your help to fill 24 hours a day of programming. "Your OWN Show: Oprah's Search For The Next TV Star" arrives in Dallas on Saturday.

Oprah is teaming up with reality TV producer Mark Burnett, the man behind Survivor and The Apprentice, to create the new reality show. The show's winner will walk away as a host of her or his own talk show on Oprah's new network.

The triple-digit forecast has prompted an early call time for the auditions, which run from 6 a.m. until noon.

Auditions will take place at Kohl's in west Plano, 4708 W. Spring Creek Parkway.

Hopefuls must bring completed applications from oprah.com.
