There's a glitch in the first event held at the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. Opening act Julianne Hough has had to cancel tonight's performance.

She was set to open for country legend George Straight. Hough was to be the first-ever entertainer to take the stage in the new 1.1 billion-dollar stadium. Lee Ann Womack will take her place instead.

Under doctor's orders, according to her website, Hough must rest her voice due to severe strep throat. "I am extremely disappointed that I have to cancel these dates," said Hough. "I promise to make it up to my fans as soon as possible." Hough will resume her role opening for George Strait on June 12th at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, Virginia
