Not only does Remington sings but he also performs and he's hoping his voice will be "The Next" to rock the music world.

"I just sit there and go yep, I'm going to soak all this up so it's amazing", Remington said.

He's getting coached by one of the best in the industry.

Latin music sensation and multiple Grammy winner Gloria Estefan.

"There's just a lot of talent in the world and younger and younger all the time. So it curious to me how did these people somehow did not break that mold. So we're here to do just that give them a bigger audience", Estefan said.

Four contestants from the Dallas area will compete against each other on the new talent show called "The Next". These are singers who already have a following in the community and play regular gigs. They just need a little extra help to make it big and that’s where the professionals come in.

Erica Perry sings country western an was surprised at her bachelorette party by her coach John Rich.

"I never thought I would get to meet him personally and to be able to work with him. I really do look up to him a lot", Perry said.

Contestant Ashley Kimbrae is being coached by rapper Nelly.

And singer "Jordana" has Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers as a mentor.

The winner of the Dallas competition will move on to compete against other up and coming artists in front of a national audience.  The overall winner will get a recording contract.

"I really feel she has really given me some great insight to push me to that next level”, Remington said.
