Smooth jazz saxophonist Kenny G (real name Kenneth Bruce Gorelick) is going solo -- at least in his personal life. TMZ reports that Gorelick's wife, Lyndie Benson-Gorelick, filed separation papers in Los Angeles, citing the oft-named "irreconcilable differences."

The couple has been together for 20 years and have two songs together. According to TMZ, both Gorelick's have hired divorce lawyers.

Although Gorelick's popularity reached its height in the '90s, he's still at work. He's appeared alongside Weezer, Katy Perry and in October 2011 appeared with alt rock band Foster the People on "Saturday Night Live."

Gorelick was born and raised in Seattle and attended the University of Washington.
