Humanitarian organization World Vision is in the ninth year of its "School Tools for Kids in Need" program. It aims to help the estimated 58,000 local area kids who will start the school year lacking the basic school supplies they need to get the most from their education.

From now until Sunday, Aug. 26, donations can be dropped off at any of the 58 neighborhood Bartell Drugs locations. Supplies help stock World Vision's Teacher Resource Center, where teachers at low-income schools can pick up these supplies for their students, free of charge.
