It's been found! The truck belonging to a family staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Burien has been recovered by police.

Q13 FOX News first told you about the Hartle family in August when their 2002 black Ford F-250 was stolen.

Their son, John, was diagnosed with neuroplastoma, a form of cancer. The family had been using the truck to travel back and forth between Montana and the Seattle Children's Hospital where John goes for his treatments.

The King County Sheriff's Office said they recovered the stolen truck in the area of SW 112th Street in Burien. The truck had damage to the ignition and dash. The driver's side door lock was removed. The truck is being held by the investigators while they analyze it for fingerprints.

Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound received an anonymous tip over the weekend that led deputies to the truck. No word yet when the truck will be returned to the Hartle family.
