SEATTLE—40 years is a long time in music.
So, in honor of its 40th anniversary, the Bumbershoot Festival is bringing Bob Dylan to Seattle as the headline act.
The festival at Seattle Center over Labor Day weekend will also feature Neko Case, The Decemberists, Weezer, Hole, Rise Against, and Mary J. Blige on the mainstage.

If you want to see a mainstage show, you'll want to buy a standard ticket, which runs about $40. For the first time ever, that full price ticket will guarantee access to the mainstage, where in years past, you had to stand-in line.
If you don't need to see the mainstage acts, you can buy an Economy Ticket, for about $22 bucks a day, and still upgrade later if you change your mind.
Right now, the festival has only announced it's music lineup. Comedy acts, and theatre performances, along with set times and stages will be revealed in mid-July.
Bumbershoot gets about 150,000 visitors each year.
