St. John's Preschool, 101 S. Prospect St., will hold an open house for prospective students and parents Wednesday, Jan. 25, from 6 to 7 p.m.
The school is housed on the second floor of Trimble Hall, which is at the rear of St. John’s Episcopal Church.
The church established St. John’s Preschool, a nonprofit preschool, in 1971 as part of its outreach program in the Hagerstown community. The school has been a long-standing promoter of early childhood literacy. The school is open to all children. It employs teaching professionals and continues to provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum in a nurturing environment, including its children’s literacy initiative program.
The programs include two classes for 3-year-olds: a two-day class and a three-day class; as well as a two classes for 4- to 5-year-olds, which meet either three times a week or five times per week.
