The black man, captured on a store security camera, is described as being between 6-foot and 6-foot-2, with a heavy build, shaved head and brown eyes, police said in the release. He is approximately 35 to 45 years of age, police said.
Around noon Thursday, the man entered Tekflash, a computer repair store on East Franklin Street, and tied up a worker before taking an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and fleeing toward North Mulberry Street and East Avenue, police said.
The man’s behavior made the worker believe he may have been in possession of a firearm, police said.
At the time of the robbery, the man was wearing a dark colored coat over a gray hooded sweatshirt with a distinctive red stripe on the hood, police said. The man also wore light colored pants, possibly blue jeans, and dark colored shoes, police said.
Police believe the man entered the store on a previous occasion, wearing a red sports jersey with a “61” on the front, according to the release.
Anyone with information about the man’s identity may contact Hagerstown police at 301-790-3700 or email@example.com.
