The Grand Rapids Public Museum will host a Titanic exhibit during the 100th anniversary year of the famous sinking.

Museum officials announced Wednesday night that Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition will be coming to the museum in November of 2012.

The exhibit will include many of the artifacts that were recovered from the wreck.

"It's great for the community to bring an exhibit of this caliber here to Grand Rapids," said Dale Robertson, president of the Grand Rapids Public Museum.

Details about dates, times and ticket information were not released.  Museum officials said they just recently signed the deal and are still working out the logistics.

News of the exhibit comes as the museum is wrapping up a successful run of the Bodies Revealed exhibit. Attendance has exceeded expectations, at more than 90,000 and counting.
