GRAND RAPIDS—A man was shot twice at a Grand Rapids night club early Saturday morning.
At 2 a.m. Saturday, Grand Rapids Police Department officers were on patrol when they heard gunshots fired at the Karma Night Club at 725 Division Ave. South. A block away from the scene, a man walking with a friend approached the officers and said he had been shot.
The 20-year-old Grand Rapids man suffered non-life-threatening wounds to his hand and leg.
The investigation revealed that the man had been shot in the night club's vestibule area.
The shooting remains under investigation by the Grand Rapids Police Department.
The club has been the scene of a number of police-related incidents. On May 28, three people suffered non-life-threatening injuries when they were shot outside the Karma Night Club at 2 a.m.
